Overall, there are 50 different resources in the game. Highrise City also lets you build speciality farms and fisheries for food to feed your citizens. So not only do you need a healthy bank balance, but you also have to have resources available to build. The resources are then used as building supplies to construct your city. You must set up a lumberjack yard for wood and clay works to make bricks. Build Carriers to transport your resources However, Highrise City is a far more resource-based game than Cities Skylines is. The biggest and most fundamental difference between the games is in Cities Skylines you can build as long as you have money in your bank balance. Milestones, a city budget, residential, industry and office zones all exist in Highrise City as in Cities: Skyline. Laying out roads for your cities traffic is done in much the same way as in Cities: Skylines and can prove to be just as fiddly to do. On first look at Highrise City, you can’t help comparing it to Cities: Skylines as it has many similarities. I’ve played the game on and off since it was released and I love it. One of the best City building games on PC is Cities: Skylines. We’ve been lucky enough to get an Early Access code for the game, and I’ve been busy playing it. While residential construction in Tysons commences at a record pace, the outstanding office vacancy rate continues to give developers pause when considering new towers. It remains to be seen how the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccines will affect things in the upcoming year, and if the return of office workers will again spur interest in new trophy-class construction. There are a lot of things going for it, but it may not amount to much if the market does not recover. Two Metro station are within a mile, both Tysons malls are within half a mile, and the neighboring properties are steadily being developed with attractive mixed-use buildings. The property is positioned ideally, with a direct front to both the beltway and Route 123. Due in part to the COVID-19 pandemic, the office vacancy rate in Tysons has increased throughout the year, despite the decommission of at least one office building to be replaced by residential construction. However, Foulger-Pratt’s nearby Tysons Central project is already under construction and, with nearly twice the office space, is also competing for tenants. The condition of the current office market notwithstanding, the site is still ready to begin vertical construction at any time. Fairfax County approved the final development plan for the building back in 2012 as one of the first buildings of the Arbor Row mixed-use center, but since then, approval and subsequent progress has been seen on other buildings in the neighborhood, while City View has languished. The owner made the decision to market the property after a previous deal to develop the building fell through.
